Umkhaya (Pty) Ltd is privately owned by Thulani Mtolo. It is 100% black owned, with 14 staff members both full time and part time. It was founded in 2004 whilst he was working for Multichoice SMS (Pty) Ltd.
We are based in KwaZulu Natal with offices in Pinetown and Pietermaritzburg. Umkhaya means “neighbours, hommies, locals" etc. this comes from a thinking that says we are all neighbours.
