RAKGAMA ANDRIES MANOKO – (DIRECTOR)

Rakgama Andries Manoko completed his B.Proc Degree at the University of the North in 1989 and sealed his profession with an LLB Degree from the same University in 1993.

He joined the firm of J.B SHONGWE ATTORNEYS in 1993 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 1996.

In 1996, he became a member of Tswasongu High School Governing Body.
In 1996, he was appointed as the Chairperson for the Disciplinary Committee of the Western Gauteng Services Council up to date.
In 1997, he joined the criminal law department at Technikon of Republic of South Africa where he lectured criminal law on a part-time basis.
In 1999, he was appointed as Chairperson of the Appeal Board Disciplinary Committee for the Merafong City Local Municipality previously known as Carletonville Transitional Local Council.
In 1999, Mr. Manoko was appointed to act as the Chief Investigating Officer in the Commission of Inquiry into Hospital Care Practices for a period of six (6) months during which he investigated most Gauteng Provincial Hospitals.

He specializes in Magistrate’s Court Litigation with a special interest in related regulatory systems, particularly general litigation in civil and criminal court, drafting of interdict and spoliation orders.

In 2002, Mr. Manoko was appointed by the Minister of Department of Mineral and Energy as the:-
(a) Board Member to the South African Diamond Board;
(b) Member of the Executive Committee of the South African Diamond Board; and
(c) Chairperson of the Licensing Committee of the South African Diamond Board.
(d) In 2003, appointed by the DPLG in conjuction with the European Union to determine the municipal Needs and Update Municipal Data in the Limpopo Province.
(e) In 2004, Appointed as Chairperson of the Disciplinary Hearing in Westonaria Local Council Municipality and further appointed by the Honorable MEC for Sports, Culture and Recreation, as the Legal Advicer on Labour matters.
(f) In 2006, appointed by the MEC of Finance and Economic Affairs as a member of the Local Committee of the Gauteng Liquor Board for West Rand District.

He is a member of Black Lawyers Association.


MMUSO OSCAR LEKETI – PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT

Mmuso Oscar Leketi is in possession of a degree in Baccalareus Legum (LLB) which degree he obtained from Vista University in 2002.

He served his articles of clerkship with GUMBO & CO ATTORNEYS of Mogwase, Rustenburg as from February 2003 until February 2005. During the period of his articles he gained practical experience in the following: Magistrate’s Court Civil Procedure, Magistrate’s Court Criminal Procedure, High Court Procedure, Debt collection, Third Party Claims, Matrimonial Matters, Drafting of wills and Administration of Estates, Drafting of Contracts, Forms of Business Enterprise, Labour Dispute resolution, Drafting Bill of Costs, practice Management and other fields of law. He also served as a small claims court assistant during the said period of articles.

Mr Leketi was duly admitted to practice as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa on the 4th of July 2005. He was appointed as a professional assistant by R.A Manoko Attorneys with effect from August 2005 focusing on general Litigation, drafting, vetting commercial contracts and third party claims. He is currently enrolled for Diploma in Corporate Law with University of Johannesburg as well as Certificate in Medical Law with Unisa.

Mr Leketi is affiliated to Black Lawyers Association and has participated in the Association human rights awareness Campaign in prisons, schools and communities.

MAPURUNYANE DORWIN MASHABELA – CANDIDATE ATTORNEY

Mapurunyane Dorwin Mashabela obtained his LLB Degree from University of the North (now
University of Limpopo) in 2003.

Mr. Mashabela also Participated in Street law educational Campaign conducted under Faculty of
law at University of the North whose principal objective was to make members of the public aware.

Mr Mashabela attended School for Legal Practice in 2004 and received an intensive training in
almost all the fields of law ranging from Criminal Court Practice, Labour matters, Estates, Divorce,
Drafting of contracts to matters relating Book keeping. He passed his Attorneys Board
Admission Exams in 2005 and then joined R.A Manoko Attorneys on the18th May 2005 as a
Candidate Attorney.
